Location: E-Block STME 2nd Year Lecture Hall

Event Description

Esports Arena brings together competitors from a large pool of institutes for a fierce tournament to test the skill of players in individual and team-based esports titles. 2 gaming tournaments will be organized for the games: Tekken 8 and FC24 with separate timings. Both tournaments will be conducted on the same day and at the same venue. Participants can register through forms created on unstop until the registration deadline date is reached.

General Rules and Information

1. 32 MAX players in TEKKEN.
2. 32 MAX teams in FIFA
3. Single elimination brackets to allocate all participants (only 1 chance to each team/player).
4. Winner will be selected purely via in-game results.
5. Referee will be present to oversee the matches.
6. No unfair means will be tolerated whatsoever.
7. Disciplinary code of NMIMS to be followed by all participants. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
8. Players can bring their own controllers (DualSense 5 controller only) if they wish to otherwise they will be provided.

Eligibility

Open to all students of our institute as well as students from invited institutes, regardless of expertise in any of the games. Controllers can be brought by students but only DualSense controller is allowed as the matches will take place on Playstation 5 console systems.

Important Dates

Registration Details:

50rs Registration fee per head .

Registration to be done a few days before the event to prepare the tournament bracket.

No Entries will be accepted after max players have registered or the entry is after deadline.

Prizes

Winners and Top contenders will receive exciting prizes such as controllers as well as certificates. Participation certificates and posters for all participants will be provided.

Game Specific Rules and Match Details

For TEKKEN 8

-1v1 Tournament

-Each match is best of 3 rounds; each round is 1 minute.

-Approx 2 hrs event run-time

-Side selection choice to be given via coin toss

For FC24

-2v2 Tournament of 16 teams

-Team members will register their names together

-Each match is of 6 mins half-time

-Approx 2.5 hours event run-time

-Tie will be resolved by Penalty Shootout only
