Event Logistics

Rules and Regulations

Individual participation.
No external resources are allowed. Use of any external resources will lead to immediate disqualification.
Code submission must be done through GitHub.
Mentors will be available on-site for clarifications, but they cannot provide code solutions.
The decision of the judges is final and binding.
Participants must adhere to the code of conduct of NMIMS Chandigarh.

Format

There will be three domains: Web development, AI/ML, and DSA.
The participants have to choose any one domain.
There will be 3 questions in each domain divided into easy, medium, and hard categories.
The easy questions will award 5 points, medium 10 points, and hard 15 points.
One winner will be selected from each domain according to the points they have accumulated according to the judging criteria.

Judging Criteria

The submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Correctness (50%): The solution accurately addresses the problem.
Efficiency (20%): The code is optimized for time and space complexity.
Readability (20%): The code is well-structured, commented, and easy to understand.
Innovation (10%): The solution demonstrates creative problem-solving.

Support and Resources

PCs will be provided at the venue for participants to use.
Mentors will be available on-site to answer questions and provide guidance.
Basic programming tools and libraries will be pre-installed on the provided PCs.
Internet access will be provided however can't be guaranteed, for accessing problem statements and submitting code through GitHub.

Time Management: Allocate time effectively between problem-solving, coding, and testing.

Readability: Write clean, well-structured, and commented code.
Leverage Resources: Utilize available libraries and frameworks efficiently.
Seek Clarifications: Don't hesitate to ask mentors for clarifications.
Stay Calm and Focused: Maintain a positive attitude and avoid getting stressed.
