NMIMS Chandigarh Campus

The foundation stone for the Chandigarh campus was laid on 12 October 2009. The foundation stone was laid by His Excellency Governor of Punjab & Administrator Union Territory of Chandigarh, Gen. (Retd.) S. F. Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM, the Hon'ble members of SVKM trust, and the University Leadership team.

The campus started with two exclusive undergraduate disciplines of Commerce and Law and has recently added two Engineering Programs. The School of Commerce provides the BBA & B Com programs. The School of Law provides the BA LLB & BBA LLB programs. The B. Tech Computer Engineering and B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) are provided by the School of Technology Management and Engineering.

The mission of all the programs is to prepare our students to be lifelong learners. The modus includes thoughtful mentoring for the assured success of our students.

Progression and Accomplishments

The institution was operational for the first time commencing Academic Year 2021-22 and had inducted the Director, Faculty, and Staff members. While the First Semester was conducted online for all programs, the second semester commenced with "On-Campus" pedagogy.

All mandatory meetings and committees have always been put in place and have been effective in bringing changes to the functioning of the campus. In consonance with the university's rich traditions, students have been provided clubs and societies to participate in co-curricular activities. Four Clubs were constituted (Cultural Club, CSIR Club, Literary Club, and Sports & Adventure Club)
